Paris 1965

Edvado 14 May 2008 02:51:57
Hi, does anyone know anything about these individuals or groups that
apparently appeared with The Beatles in Paris in 1965?

Les Pollux (performing "I'm All Right")
Evy (performing "Memphis, Tennessee")
Moustique (performing "Joy, Joy, Joy")
Les Haricots Rouges (performing "Les Copains D'abord" - [I believe this
was a Jazz Band])

Were there other groups on the bill?

I do know The Yardbirds were on the bill and performed a song called "I
Wish You Would" and that one of the performances was recorded for live
release on an album titled "The Yardbirds Beat Club".

Yeah, I found that page. Doesn't even give her full name, does it?
So much of Beatle history has been examined and poured over for the most
minute detail, but these two shows seem to have escaped anyone's
attention.

One hting I found that was interesting was that The Yardbirds'
performance of one song was good enough to be taped and released on a
later live album. I'll keep digging.

Thanks!
