Has Brian Ferry recorded a cover on "To Ramona"?

Guest 16 May 2005 17:53:04
 Hi group,

Recently I heard on the radio a cover on Dylans
"To Ramona" that sounded a lot like Brian Ferry singing.

But I can not find any such recording. Do you know
who it might have been?

The vocals is obviously sung in a Brian Ferry-like style,
Britisg English, and the accomponionment is a piano.
The whole thing has a very delicate touch to it, bringing
out the lyrics really well.

Never heard of a Bryan Ferry cover.

Could be Alan Price - at least he's English and he once was The Animals
keyboardist as well as the (drunk) guy who hung out with Dylan in Don't Look
Back.

Chris Hillman sings it with The Flying Burrito Brothers. There's another
version by the Gosdin Bros but somehow I don't think it's that.

Here's a link to a recent re-issue of the Alan Price Set's The House That
