| Where to buy films in Switzerland Steven Woody 01:22:13 |
| | Hi, folks
I will be in Switzerland for several months, and I think I need at least 50 rolls slides/negatives in color and b/w. How about film selling in Swiss? Is it cheap and easy? It will be appreciated if you tell me some online or real stores.
Thanks in advance.

| Old Packard Shutter John J 21:11:39 |
| | I happened across a NIB #6 Packard-Ideal shutter, complete with instructions and the bag of hardware plus an extra 'instant' pin. Price marked on it: $14.50
That would be the Fifties, do you think?
Anywho, mounting it up right now in a recessed board for 6x6" boards.

| FA: Minolta 500mm f/8 Rokkor-X Mirror Lens. Near Perfect. Bill 23:19:58 |

Minolta 500mm f/8 Rokkor-X Mirror Lens. Near Perfect.
Up for auction here is a near perfect example of the Minolta 500mm f/8 Rokkor-X "mirror" lens. It is as close to perfect as a used lens can get and I suspect that it was not used much, I had it out of its case maybe three time to use it and once to photograph it for this auction.
The 500mm uses a catadioptric design to enable the 500mm focal length to be achieved in a smaller package. These lenses are often called 'mirror lenses' because they use mirrors as well as optical elements in their construction.
This auction includes the lens in near new condition, the four filters that came with the lens from Minolta, the "key" or wrench for installing and removing the filters, I will also include the original Minolta case as a bonus.

| eFilming help? Joe Pucillo 10:26:54 |
| | My lab has an efilming digital carrier for its minilab operation, and the operator is having problems with the uniformity of the image across the entire photo. There is a "uniformity" adjustment procedure that was written in a very confusing manner. Does anyone have any experience with this, and could you please assist me by walking me through the procedure?
Thanks - calls to China have so far been less than fruitful.
