Unless the photographer you bought the picture off assigned you copyright then you have no right to sell on their work. I hope they are reading this and take you for every penny.
I have sent a link to this site to every photographer, agent, designer and client I have lets hope we can all put a stop to your immoral practises. |

Nikon's flash units cost more than I have paid for automobiles (Yes, I am that old.) I have a flash bracket and hot shoe, and I'd love to hook up my old Vivitar Auto Thrysistor 283, but the manual says any other flash is likely to create a current flow that will damage the camera. Is this true, or just Nikon's way of assuring that I buy their flash? |

| | I have an SRT 101, that I just got with the same problem. I read the last post and am thinking of following that procedure. I have a service manual and am trying to figure out which part of the manual refers to the mirror kicker gear.
It appears that this is under the dismounting of shutter curtains section. It talks about disconnecting the revertion spring engaged with the pre-set lever stopper and then taking out the nail wratchet spring form the adjusting nail axis. Then unscrew and take out the two curtain spring adjusting nail wratchets.
So is looks like you have to dig way down there and remove a lot of parts to get to it including taking off the front cover.
Is this correct? |

If you are interested in Infrared photography at all you should know that the Olympus C2000 and C2020 are likely the best IR cameras around for out-of-the-box shooting. All you'll need is a good IR filter and a step down ring to make it fit. Search on the web and you'll find tons of info. confirming this stuff. |

| | I recenty bought a brand new Vivitar 17mm f/3.5...The build quality seems OK, but I haven't shot any with it yet. Paying only $146.00 with original lens caps (front and back), I wouldn't expect it to match its quality against my Nikon 17-35mm zoom. I bought it for convenience, since I can put it on my old Nikon F2A, and go anywhere without the weight as compared with the 17-35mm on the F5. Anyone ready to post any samples photos shot with this lens? Ben from CA |

Firstly it was nice to see that UFRaw finally is a program that can open the NEF files. But the colours I get are totally unreal -- the software warns that it cannot read camera WB.
I thought this was the whole issue, to break this "code". Then again I may be doing something wrong, and would welcome any comments. I work on Windows XP. |
