I didn't think she was that bad. Having said that I didn't think that she was that good either. ;-^)

We managed to miss the very beginning, but caught enough of it. We watched it in the main hall with quite a few other people at the 'Serenity' convention at the Thistle this weekend.

We gave Andrew his evening bottle when we got there, to keep him quiet so we could watch it in peace, but he'd finished his bottle before the end, obviously. <g> Anyway, he was glued to the screen - bear in mind he's not quite 17 months old yet - and when the dalek opened up he just made a sort of scared-but-impressed baby style 'argggh' noise - and it got quite a laugh from the people in the hall.
It was his first episode of 'Dr Who', pity he won't remember it. <g> And it'll be his last for a while: on a Saturday he gets put to bed a little earlier than normal so that Keith can watch it in peace. LOL!

Well, I will admit that it took a while for the 'penny to drop' (as we say over here). In fact, I had to confirm it from the end credits before I was completely sure. Only 'cos she looked and sounded so different
