Great job, Jan! How did you manage to fit it in with all your other
projects?
Thanks, Iva. It's been in the works for a while now. As I recall, I first asked if I could do it in late 2006. The Scripts Team didn't know what they'd do with it at that point but they let me start. It was a shock and an honor when they decided to put it in Volume 15, let me tell you!

Congratulation to all the lucky ones, who will get final volumes
now!
I just got mine today!!! The UPS guy tossed it up the staircase and it slid past the door. Fortunately I was home and it didn't sail off my balcony. The noise did terrify my cats though.
You're in luck. Todays email promised a book of non JMS scripts will be coming. HTe cover image says volume 1, so hopefully a second and a third are in the work as well.
The cover lists the following authors.
Larry DiTillio D. C. Fontana David Gerrold Christy Marx Marc Scott Zicree
More detail is promised next week but.... I now await those with better access to trivia and more time on their hands to identify the episodes these people wrote.

Well, the non-JMS writers were Larry DiTillio (7 episodes 104, 113, 119, 122, 206, 210, 216) D C Fontana (3 107, 115, 204) David Gerrold (1, 105) Christy Marx (1, 109) Marc Scott Zicree (1, 111) Kathryn Drennan (1, 114) Scott Frost(1, 205) Peter David (2, 208, 215) Neil Gaiman (1, 511) (unless I missed one somewhere)
My guess is they are in order written, which is by production number, rather than in the order shown. So if we have 3 books, with 6 episodes each, that gives 104, 105, 107, 109, 111, and 113 in the first book. That fits with the names on the cover. If you don't have the list by production number, the first 6 are 104 Born to the Purple 105 Believers 107 The War Prayer 109 Grail 111 Survivors 113 Deathwalker So next week we will see if I am really insightful, or completely bonkers.

Now the question is (which I hope will be answered next week as well, but will definitely be answered when we get the darn thing)--who's doing the foreword and commentaries (the writers? JMS? Both?)

If it's only going to be 6 stories per volume I really hope for both to add some comentary. The existing 14 volumes have already consumed the best of the material JMS had available, and with fewer scripts per book more material is needed to fill them up. If there's a seperate 2nd season writers guide that would help, but otherwise i'm having trouble coming up with any filling material that wouldn't fall in the catagory of 'rejected once'.

Did you get the email from CafePress about the new set of scripts?
Still no word as of last night - obviously I need to check! Still nothing
in the inbox... CafePress & Jaclyn have I slipped up? <<
Wayne, are you saying you didn't get an email from CafePress, and you are usually on that distribution list? Or that you didn't get your books? In either case, you need to write to help@babylon5scripts.com. Jaclyn doesn't post (or read) here, but if you write to her directly, I guarantee you'll get an answer quickly!

Wayne,
If you were on the list to get the email alerts for the 14-volume set, you should have gotten the email that went out on May 9 also.
It announced the extension of the availability of the 14-volume set to June 30 in order to keep the promise that the books would be available for 90 days after Volume 14 was released.
The second announcement was that Volume 1 of Babylon 5: Other Voices is going to be released this week featuring scripts by Larry DiTillio, David Gerrold, D.C. Fontana, Christy Marx and Marc Scott Zicree.
If you didn't get it (check your spam folder?), you probably should write to help@babylon5scripts.com and let the Scripts Team know.

I don't think I got that email either, but I will have to have a close look and check that I didn't just overlook it first before I worry about not being on the mailing list.
In other news still waiting for my copies to arrive.

Well I just got the most recent email, so I am still on the list.
2 weeks is on the borderline off normal, I will give it another week before I really start to get concerned. I have had mail take up to 6 weeks once, but not from Cafepress.
